Visitor Information
Mississippi is a wonderful state with a subtropical Gulf Coast that provides vast quantities of shrimp and oysters to feed the multitudes of vacationers who flock there year around. It is a very popular resort and vacation area and a favorite with fishermen. Hunting for waterfowl along the Mississippi River basin and deer in other areas are also excellent and attract thousands of hunters each year. For me, Mississippi is the Natchez Trace Parkway (Natchez Trace Parkway) and the antebellum traditions and pageantry of the wonderful towns of Vicksburg (Vicksburg) and Natchez (Natchez).
