Backcountry
Zipline Adventure - Kauai
Backcountry Adventures
is proud to offer one of the first zipline eco-adventures in the United
States. Your adventure begins as your travel deep into Kauai’s lush interior
on a 30-minute narrated 4-wheel drive tour. After a thorough briefing by
your certified guide, you’ll be outfitted with your helmet and harness and
set out for an exhilarating journey above the treetops. You’ll glide and
soar over the mountainside, sailing along a series of seven ziplines as you
traverse down the mountainside into the lush valley below (the course takes
approximately 1.5 hours). At the conclusion of the zip course, you’ll take a
short walk to a mountain stream where you can relax with a picnic lunch or a
refreshing swim in a natural swimming pool before heading back with
spectacular memories of Kauai! For additional information, or to make
reservations, click on

Kauai Sightseeing Tour -
Aloha Kauai Tour -
The Aloha Kauai Tour is a
guided, four wheel drive adventure into spectacular untamed areas, otherwise
inaccessible and off limits to the general public! Enjoy an expert
narration and beautiful Kauai sightseeing including Waimea Canyon.
Learn about Hawaiian history and culture and
experience the beauty of Waimea Canyon in the surrounding
native forest and Kokee State Park, a uniquely beautiful
ecosystem, home to many endemic plants and birds. You will also go off the
beaten track behind the locked gates of Grove Farm Plantation
and see the best of their
Backroads Adventure like the cane tunnel and
Kilohana Crater.
On the way up to Kokee
State Park you pass through scenic, rural countryside of Kauai. You will
stop at the major viewpoints along the highway including
Waimea Canyon Lookout and
Kalalau, which is the largest valley
along the Na Pali coast. This incredible scene is at the end of the
road at an elevation of 4,200 feet. While you are enjoying the view, your
guide will lay out a delicious lunch.
The typical tour has 10 or fewer
passengers. The small groups and the comfortable vehicles make for an
interactive tour. Your questions are welcomed and the conversation can focus
on areas of your particular interest. Tour leaves from
Kilohana Plantation, Lihue, East Kauai. For additional information or
reservations, click on
