Return to Westville

Cabinet Shop

Your travel source with a personal touch!

Originally a tailor shop, this building was built in Lumpkin in 1836. John Singer II worked in the building when it was a tailor shop.

Inside the shop you can watch as woodworkers make items for use in Westville. They also make some items you can purchase in the general store as you leave Westville.

The Cabinet Shop is one of three buildings on Forsyth Street that were build by the Singer Family. They were all built in the town of Lumpkin and moved here from their original locations in town.
