Return to Cities in Connecticut
City and Destination Information Mystic is one of those places that is, well - "mystic." This little area of Eastern Connecticut feautres culture, some wonderful countryside, the sea and casinos. Mystic Seaport and Mystic Aquarium are world-class institutions showcasing America’s seagoing history and the life below the surface. For something a bit more modern, try the unparalleled flash and pizzazz it’s the Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos. This is a great town for walking. There are lots of good places to eat, gift shops, statues of local heroes, and old cemeteries careworn but cared for. Spend your night in a resort or B&B; kick back in an old inn or let the family spread out in well appointed hotel. Where ever you kick off your shoes it will be at the end of a day well spent.
I really enjoy visiting the area of the Mystic Coast and countryside - Mystic Seaport, Foxwoods Resort Casino, the Mystic Aquarium, and the many restaurants and good shopping. Be sure to have a pizza while you are there! 1.800.MY COAST or Mystic. Also, check out Mystic & More!
