Monterey Bay Lodge - Throughout my travels in the United States and the rest of the world, I have stayed in many hotels. I have experienced everything from the luxurious high-end hotels and resorts, to little mom and pop places. Some of my favorite places have been hotels such as the Monterey Bay Lodge. The Monterey Bay Lodge is not one of those slick, modern chain hotels, but a comfortable old place that gives one a feeling of home in a strange place. This is one hotel I would highly recommend when visiting the Monterey area. Not only is it clean and well-kept, but the location is great, only a few minutes walk along the beach to the center of Monterey, Old Fisherman's Wharf, and the beach.
