We moved to Rio Rico in the fall of 2005. I built a retirement home for Pat and I on the top of a hill with nice views of the mountains all around us. We love it here and are very glad to be able to call Rio Rico our home. Below are the views Pat and I have from our new home.

Looking North - This is our view of the mountains to the north. It is also the view we enjoy from breakfast table.	Looking East - This is the view from our living room window and the patio. It is wonderful to watch the sun rising over the mountains.
Actually, we are surrounded by mountains.	Looking West - Evening view where we can watch as the sun sets over the mountains.

After living on a half-acre lot in Georgia, where there was a lot of maintenance....	...I really enjoy the lack up upkeep on the yard. About all I need to do is apply week killer about every 90 days and, that's it.
As there are just the two of us, we don't need a lot of space. Re really downsized when we retired.	This is the office where Getting Away is produced. I do let Pat use it occasionally.
Although our bedroom is much smaller than the one we had in Georgia...	...and the view of the mountains, and the access to the patio are both a big plus.
Our kitchen is very functional and provides us a nice view of the mountains to the north, east and south were we can see into Mexico about 8 miles away.	The bay window in the eating area of the kitchen provides us with a great view of the mountains.

We also have a nice guest room so, if you are in the area, and we have a vacancy, you might just be in luck!
