Commemorative Air Force, Arizona Wing Museum
When in Mesa, be sure to visit the Commemorative Air Force, Arizona Wing Museum. It is located just off of the 202 expressway. Take the Greenfield Road exit to the museum. There are several aircraft on display, including some war birds that you can take a ride in. Contact the Arizona Wing Commemorative Air Force, 2017 North Greenfield Road, Mesa, Arizona 85215, 480-924-1940 for additional information and hours of operation.
Here are some photos I took on my visit. You will notice that several of the planes are being restored. The goal of the Arizona Wing of the Commemorative Air Force is that all of their planes be flyable.
