Hunting and Fishing
Hot Springs National Park. People have used the hot spring water in
therapeutic baths for more than two hundred years to treat rheumatism and other
ailments. Today the park protects eight historic bathhouses with the former
luxurious Fordyce Bathhouse housing the park visitor center. The entire
"Bathhouse Row" area is a National Historic Landmark District that
contains the grandest collection of bathhouses of its kind in North America. Click on

Arkansas is filled with some great state parks. (Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism) Water-related activities and hiking are the major outdoor activities in the state. Many of the state parks offer camping, cabins, and lodges and the parks are open all year. However, some facilities are closed from December through March.
