features North America's highest mountain, 20,320-foot tall Mount McKinley. Calypso Farm and Ecology Center
is a non-profit, educational farm based in Ester, Alaska. We provide hands-on science education to Fairbanks school children through our education programs, and our diversified farm feeds a number of local families as well as residents of the local women's shelter. This web site provides introductory information on these and other programs, volunteer and membership opportunities, and our future plans. Calypso Farm and Ecology Center is located at mile five of the Old Nenana Hwy. Take the Ester turn off of the Parks Highway between the truck weigh station and the Volunteer Fire Department- this is the Old Nenana Hwy. Hear about her love of living in Alaska with her family of sled dogs. Learn about Mary's thirty-six years of adventure in mushing, where a dog team carries her to a quiet life in the wilderness.
