The center of the Good Land is Luxembourg City which is the

Suggestions for Dining in
Luxembourg
The Ardennes ham, raw or smoked, various preserves of pork,
and patés, notably those in Riesling, crayfish, and pike, "friture" (small fried
fish) of the Moselle and the Lower Sûre, the confectionery, the pastries, and
the chocolate pralines, demonstrate the Luxembourg taste for fine and
sophisticated dishes. Of course, international and continental cuisine is ever
present, and Luxembourg boasts the highest number of starred restaurants per
head of population in Europe. It is not by chance that the Grand Duchy of
Luxembourg was awarded the Bocuse d'Or in 1989.
The
art of the table combines well with the porcelain services of the "Manufacture Royale et Imperiale de Villeroy & Boch", world famous and established in
Luxembourg in 1767 (for visits phone 468212-16). Luxembourg also enjoys an
extremely ancient tradition for pottery. On Easter Monday, earthenware bird
whistles are favorite presents among strolling lovers.
