No visit to Munich would be complete without visiting the former concentration camp at Dachau. A visit here is a memorable and moving experience. About 10 miles outside of Munich is the infamous first German concentration camp, Dachau. Dachau brings back memories that should never be repressed - as horrible as they are - to assure nothing like this is ever allowed to happen again. A tour of Dachau is a truly moving experience - especially when you stand and stare at the stark reality of the ovens.
