| I really enjoy visiting England. I believe you could say it is one of my favorite
countries in Europe
and I have been there several times.
England is normally the first country visited by travelers to the UK from North America, and London is usually their
first destination. This section
will cover England from London to the small villages and towns to the wonderful countryside
including
vacation opportunities, things to see and do, accommodations, dining and much
more. England is filled with just about
everything you might seek in the way of a great place for a vacation
or a holiday. You can find everything from simple bed and breakfast
accommodations to fancy resorts. You can find any activity you enjoy
from golf to theatre to simply taking a walk through the countryside
along one of the many hundred miles of paths that crisscross the
country, such as the on to the left.

England is divided into several general areas.
These areas are generally as follows: London, the Thames Valley, the
Southeast, the South, the West, the "Heart of England," Shakespeare's
Country, East Anglica, the Lancashire area, the Peaks, the Lake District,
Yorkshire, the Northeast, the Welsh Border area, and the Channel Islands.

I love just about everything about England, from Stonehenge
and Tower Bridge to Eton and Oxford, England is loaded with great things
to see and do.
I also enjoy the many cities and towns of England, from the large
metropolitan areas, to the small villages and towns. If you spend some
