Getting to Belgium
By Air...
Brussels is easily accessible from just about anywhere in the world and prices from the United States to Brussels are often discounted. Zaventem Airport is a free port with excellent duty-free shopping. Brussels Airport.

Looking for a good air fare? Check the Getting Away Air Fare Finder!
Also, find good accommodations and a rental cars for when you arrive!

About 40 international airlines fly into Brussels including the national airline, Sabena. Sabena is an excellent airline with cabin crews that seem to really care about their passengers. When you fly with Sabena it is almost like being in Belgium before the plane even leaves the ground.

British Airway
British Airways (ba.com) flies between Brussels and London.

To get into the city of Brussels from Zaventem Airport can be expensive if you take a taxi, as much as $50, depending upon where in the city you want to go. If you must use a taxi you should look for the taxis with an orange sticker with a white airplane on it as the offer reduced fares from the airport to the city center. You best bet into the city is by rail. There is direct train service between the airport and all three of the principal railway stations in the city that run between 5:30 a.m. and 10:55 p.m. Tickets are available at the railway station and in the tourist office in the luggage hall.

By Bus...
There is good bus service into Belgium from most of the major centers of Europe.

Getting around in Belgium
Rail travel is very popular in Belgium and an investment in the Benelux Tourrail Ticket, which covers unlimited travel for any five days within any one-month period, is an excellent buy. If you will not be using the train that much, but may be making two or three trips by rail, you may want to look into Belgian Railways Minitrips.

There is an extensive bus system that travels to all of the major cities as well as much of the local areas throughout the country. You can find fare and information, along with schedules, at any railway station.

Moto Europa - If you are visiting Belgium (Office is in Brussels), and your stay will be 17 days or more, why rent a car when you can lease from Moto Europa. Getting Away has teamed with Ideamerge to provide an online way for you to learn more about, and perhaps subsequently order, a Renault Eurodrive tax-free, short-term auto lease. These leases can be great deals for persons traveling 17 days or more! And, this is the only site on the web where you can learn so much about them and order securely online. Tax-free, short-term leases have the touch and feel of a rental but can be much less costly and, in many respects, much simpler. You book and pay for your lease before taking delivery, signing a contract which allows Renault to register and fully insure in your name the exact vehicle of your choice for the period you requested. You do not, of course, pay the full price of the vehicle; the one low charge—tax-free and including full comprehensive insurance and breakdown coverage, 24/7 roadside assistance, and full warranty—is essentially the difference between preset buying and selling prices. After returning the vehicle, you have no further obligations whatsoever; Renault sells the vehicle to a rental agency or other party. Check it out today before you rent a car!  (Moto Europa and Getting Away have also teamed up to provide you with the same services if you will be going to England, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Portugal or Spain.)
