Return to Monaco

Rampe Major

The palace in Monaco is connected to the port area of La Condamine by the steep Rampe Major, a red-brick pedestrian ramp built in the 16th-century to connect the palace and port. A walk up to the top of the hill by way of the pedestrian walkway is a must. This page contains several pictures I have taken along the walkway of the gardens and the views from the walkway.
