Return to Cities, Towns, and Villages of Italy
The Hotel Casci is a
wonderful, friendly place to stay just a short walk from the Piazza del Duomo
where the Cathedral of Santa Maria Del Fiore, simply called "The Duomo," is located. This wonderful, city center location makes all of
the city yours to enjoy with short walks from your hotel. Because of the
wonderful location -- only 150 yards from Florence Cathedral and 500 yards from
the Railway station and close to all of the museums and monuments -- you do not
need a car when you visit here. However, if you do drive to Florence, there is a
convent garage only 200 yards away.
An ample buffet breakfast is served in the breakfast room each morning and is included in the price of your room. There is also a small lounge where you can sit and relax, and enjoy some interesting and stimulating conversation with Paolo, while you unwind from your day of wandering and "wondering" around this beautiful city. Getting to the Hotel Casci is very easy and is only a short walk of about 5000 yards from the Central Railroad Station. If you do not have very much luggage, or have only a carry on piece of luggage, you may just want to walk. And, even with a rolling suitcase, the walk is not too bad. If you would rather not walk, just take a taxi giving them the address of the hotel. It should only take about 5 or 10 minutes at the most to get there by taxi. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Casci and I am sure
you will also. For additional information, or to book reservations, just contact
