Holiday Cottages

Youth & Family Hostels
For the young, and also for entire families, you can find accommodations in youth and family hostels.  Many are located in dorms with shared bath. Family, double and even single rooms are often available. There are about 150 hostels open in the summer, some year-round. Summer Hotels
Another inexpensive alternative for lodging would be the many dorm rooms that become available during the non-school summer months.  The dorms of about fifty Finnish schools and universities open their doors to tourists during the summer, June through August. Rooms often have private bath with shower, as well as cooking facilities.
