The national airline of Egypt is Egypt
Air. However, there are several other major carriers who fly to
Egypt. There are also charter services that fly direct from Gatwick to
Egypt.

The main coastal ports are Alexandria, Port Said and
Suez. The Saudi Sea Transport Company runs a regular car
ferry service between Suez and Jeddah. The Black Sea Shipping Company
sails from Odessa. Other main passenger lines are Grimaldi/Siosa, Rashid
and Prudential.

On the Road
Currently, the road border between Libya and Egypt is
open. There is also a route to Cairo from Israel via El Arish and Port
Said, Suez or Ismailia. As of this writing, the Ras El Nakab–Taba
road (Sinai) is closed until further notice.
