Holiday Photo Contest (Ends January 31, 2007)
Probably more film (or memory chips) are sold during the month of December than any other month of the year. It seems we all are taking pictures. Well – why not another photo contest?
Send your favorite holiday photo to Getting Away and, if it is picked by the judges as the best, you will receive a $100 gift certificate you can use at most of the Marriott properties in the United States, and your photo will be published in Getting Away.
Submissions can be made by attaching the photo (in .gif format) to an email, or sending a copy of the photo by ‘snail mail.” (NOTE: Photos cannot be returned unless accompanies by a self\lf-address, stamped envelope.)
Submissions must include
the date and location of the picture, the name(s) of individuals in the photo,
and have a holiday theme. The deadline for submission is January 31, 2007.

Summer Vacation Photo Contest
Winning Photo!
The winning photo was taken by Debbie Candullo from Franklin Square, New York.
The picture was taken in the Bahamas during their vacation in July. The picture
is of her 5 year old daughter Donna and her new discovery. The judges though it
showed the spirit of wonder of a child and how enriching a vacation can be for a
family.
