3. Medical Records – If you have a physical illness, carry a printed medical history with you at all times.

Travelers with Disabilities...There are several places in Europe where some travelers with disabilities will have a difficult time – especially if confined to a wheel chair or if they simply have difficulty walking as may of the streets, sidewalks, and walk ways are very uneven in some places. Here are a few places you can get
information that may be helpful to you if you have a disability.

operates tours to Europe for disabled travelers, including tours for individuals who are blind.
Mobility International USA, or MIUSA, (P.O. Box 10767, Eugene, OR 97440 – 541/343-1284)
is a national organization (non-profit) that promotes international educational exchange and travel for
persons with and without disabilities.

Travel Information Service (215/456-9603) offers information, much from firsthand reports,
on the accessibility of hotels, restaurants, and attractions in many foreign countries. It is a part of the
MossRehab Hospital in Philadelphia, a center for treatment of the physically disabled.
